Tour our 20,000 square foot Zero Net Energy facility and 2 acres of pollinator habitat. The HIVE us a five-year development created to educate the public on honey, bees, and pollination. Throughout the weekend, explore our beautiful facility with scheduled guided tours and walks around our pollinator gardens.
Guided Honey Tastings
Dive into the complex world of honey. In this beginner workshop, learn how to taste and understand the variety and nuance of honey with Amina Harris, the Queen Bee! Amina Harris is the Director of The Honey and Pollination Center and a co-owner of Z Specialty Food.
Move Your Body
Everyone can dance! In this 30min-long lesson, Sammie Anne will be leading dance-based games and activities to encourage attendees of all ages and abilities to loosen up find the beat and move their bodies. Sammie Anne works as an art gallery director for the Atrium by day and a dance teacher at Firehouse 5 Dance Studio by night.

Our Zero Waste Initiative
How you can help: Sort your waste accordingly with our 3-bin system. Bring your own water bottle to refill at our water station. Biking is also encouraged-we have designated parking for bikes.
Play The Recycle Challenge at The HIVE
Created and designed by The Atrium, this beacon satallite from outer space will be available for visitors to interact with. This traveling interactive art installation educates, those who dare to play it, on how to up their recycling game.
