3:30pm DJ Melodic — Our house favorite DJ mixing your favorite tunes.
4:30pm Tha Exchange — Fusing Funk, Soul, Jazz and Hip Hop, this Reno based band is creating original music for a relentless dance party.
6:30pm Jelly Bread — The dance party continues with Reno's high energy powerhouse blending soul, funk, rock, spirit soaring roots and a little bit of desert twang.

All weekend long visitors can taste 30+ varietal honeys, nut butters and honey fruit spreads representing the entire Moon Shine Trading Company and Island of the Moon lines.

Tour our 20,000 square foot Zero Net Energy facility with Nectar Director, Josh Zeldner. The HIVE was a five-year development created to educate the public on honey, bees, and pollination. Throughout the weekend, explore our beautiful facility with scheduled guided tours and walks around our pollinator gardens.
Guided Honey Tastings
Dive into the complex world of honey. In this beginner workshop, learn how to taste and understand the variety and nuance of honey with Amina Harris, the Queen Bee! Amina Harris is the Director of The Honey and Pollination Center and a co-owner of Z Specialty Food.
Tour our 2 acres of pollinator habitat and gardens. The HIVE was a five-year development created to educate the public on honey, bees, and pollination. Throughout the weekend, explore our beautiful facility with scheduled guided tours and walks around our pollinator gardens.
Uncle Jer's Bee Show
Saturday, November 4 @ 11:30am and 1pm
Uncle Jer and Ellen put on an educational show that explores the intriguing society of honey bees in a most entertaining way! This all ages workshop is fun for everyone.
Participants will learn about the fascinating society of bees, pollination, honey making and harvesting, bee reproduction and the medicinal qualities of honey. They will feel and smell beeswax and honey frames, and see giant photos and film clips of various bee activities. Don’t forget the stars of the show! Participants will be able to see live bees working on a multitude of jobs!
Pollinator Garden Scavenger Hunt
Friday, November 3 + Saturday, November 4 while the sun is shining!
This self-guided scavenger hunt is for everyone (and especially kids).
Explore The HIVE’s Pollinator Garden and learn about our plants. When you arrive to The HIVE pick up a Pollinator Garden Scavenger Hunt guide and match each plant to its number. When you're finished, you;ll show your completed
booklet to a HIVE team member at the door for a prize!
